I haven't had much time for artwork lately.  School is taking too much time and I have to worry about taking the NAVLE (north american veterinary licensing examination). Eight years of college is enough, but hey! in about six months, I will fiiinnnnaalllyy be a doctor!!! Ready or not, here I come world.

I hurt inside when: Someone is spiteful to another. Loved things die. Violence is for no reason. People hurt people. Neglect of an animal. A land freshly cut of trees. Children hurting innocent creatures. A caught fish suffocating, forgotten on a dock. Someone salts a slug. Love stares someone in the face but they refuse it. I see a lost soul. Things that make me smile: My dog- begging for chicken. My brother- on Christmas morning. The smell of the earth after it rains. A long hot bubble bath. Crab stew. Crocheting with my grandmother. A good book...and knowing you have time to read it. The smell of honeysuckle and pepperm

Ahhh, January..... This is the month of many birthdays for my family.  Right after Christmas, we have five birthdays.  When my twin brothers were born (January 24), they said it was a birthday gift for my mom (whose b day is Januray 25).  Yeah right.  No contractions on my birthday, or ever thank you.  Well, anyways, so I have twin brothers who happened to be born on my grandmother's birthday (January 24) and just to make it fun, her husband, my grandfather, also has a birthday (January 21).  So, ahhhhh!!!  One of these days, I keep promising myself I will get them decent presents, but its so frantic after Christmas, I can barely manage to s
